GYM POLICIES

CLASS FEES-Monthly: Are due on or before the first class of each month; and are $5.00 more after the 1st class. No exceptions. Tuitions are non-refundable after the first week of class unless student drops due to a class injury. If payment is not received by the 2nd class the student will not be allowed to join class.

CLASS FEES-Session: Are due on or before the first class of each session; and are subject to the pro-rate fee/class after that. No exceptions. Tuitions are non-refundable after the first week of the session unless student drops due to a class injury.

MAKE-UPS: If you come once a week you are allowed one make-up per month, 2 times per week are allowed two make-ups per month. Make up your class within the same month or the first week of the next month. You must be a current, paid student to schedule make-ups from a previous month. Make-ups are not allowed for classes missed due to holiday closures; as other months will have extra days to compensate and it will even out over the course of a year. (See Gym Closures below.)

REGISTRATION FEES (membership) are due when first enrolling in Gymnastics North, and yearly thereafter. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. This fee is required for our insurance purposes, and entitles all currently-enrolled students to discounts on all gym events and birthday parties.

GYM APPAREL: Athletic clothing: bike shorts, t-shirts, sweats, leotards. No loose, floppy t-shirts. Bare feet or gymnastics shoes are best in gym. No footed tights. Long hair must be tied back. No watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets or dangling earrings. We sell leotards, bike shorts, grips, etc.

GYM BUCKS: A unique Gymnastics North incentive! For every 3 months of consecutive enrollment with full tuition paid on time we will award $3 in "Gym Bucks", which can be used for gym activities and Corner Closet Store Merchandise (not for tuition or team gear). Must be current student to use, not transferable.

GYM ACTIVITIES: Include Parent's Nite Out; Mini Meets; Performance Shows; Move-up Nights, assorted camps; Super Sunday Party; local parades, etc.

GYM CLOSURES: Monthly tuition is based on an average of 4 weeks in a month, which means you pay for 48 weeks/year. There are actually 52 weeks in a year. Therefore, there are no discounts, make-ups or rebates for Gymnastics North's holiday closures. Sessions are built around holiday closures.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

TUMBLE TOTS: for ages 1-3; a parent-child partner class to encourage toddler to focus on balancing, climbing, tumbling, swinging, bouncing and coordination skills. A loose class structure that is instruc¬tor-supervised. Specialized equipment includes cubes and ladders, incline mats, Super Swing, para¬chute, low beam, tunnel, mini rock wall, low bar, Sling Machine, mini-tramp, Tramp Track, etc.

KINDERGYM: for ages 3-5; an instructor-led class with a target ratio of 8 students per teacher. Each month has a different activity theme (Ocean, Farm, etc.) Pre-schoolers focus on concentration, sharing, and social skills while building strength, balance and coordination in the context of a fun gymnastics class. Positive and controlled atmosphere using specialized pre--school equipment listed above and more.

DEVELOPMENTAL GYMNASTICS: for boys and girls age 5½ and up; target ratio of 8-9 students per teacher. Class learns progressions in gymnastics skills that increase strength, flexibility, agility, concentration, balance and confidence. Demanding and fun classes use a belt-star reward system to designate levels and chart progress, following a modified U.S.A. Gymnastics progression. We have equipment for all standard Olympic events plus trampolines, Monkey Maze, Rope Climb, Super Swing, and other fun apparatus.

TEAM: Girls and Boys are trained in official U.S.A.G. Artistic routines. We participate in U.S.A.G. competitions throughout southern California.
